The New Year has begun! Usually, in these first days of the year, each of us writes new life plans for ourselves, new resolutions that, more or less, will make us better people. To start eating healthier, lose excess weight, stop spending money on unnecessary purchases, read books and spend less time on social media, spend and earn more money, and on and on and on.
Often, these goals of ours resemble a poem learned long ago, whose words haven’t changed for years. Why? Because deep down, in our hearts, each of us knows what is “right” — which proper goals to write on the first page of our diary, calendar, or manifestation sheet. And then a year passes, and everything starts all over again.
This year, I want to offer all of us something completely different. Let’s forget about losing weight, forget about the “right” goals — becoming a better mother, a better wife, the best employee in the office. Let’s forget about self-improvement — losing weight, starting to exercise, and all the rest. Let’s set just one goal for ourselves: to put ourselves first.
Every morning, let’s pour ourselves a cup of our favorite morning drink — tea or coffee — sit down in our favorite armchair or on the sofa, and ask ourselves just one question: what will I do today to make myself happy?
And this will be our little daily plan throughout this entire wonderful year. Let’s do this and see where it takes us! Wishing all of us success!
